Two killed in fatal crash involving three lorries and car

PETALING JAYA: A man and a woman were killed in an early morning accident along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) involving three lorries and a car.

Petaling Jaya District Police chief ACP Mohd Zani Che Din said seven others who were involved in the accident sustained severe injuries and were taken to the Sungai Buloh Hospital and the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre (UMMC) for treatment.

The 3.50am incident happened at Km14.5 of the NKVE from Damansara towards the Subang toll plaza, here.

“Road users are urged to take alternative routes to avoid congestion,” he said today.

Meanwhile, according to the Highway Authority of Malaysia's (LLM) Twitter account, as at 9am, traffic was still at a crawl from Setia Alam heading towards the scene.
