Police investigate reports of deputy minister’s alleged affairs

KOTA KINABALU: Police will investigate two reports lodged in connection to a blogger's article of an alleged affair between the Kota Belud MP and her special officer.

Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Omar Mammah said one report was made by Energy, Science, Climate Change and Environment Deputy Minister Isnaraissah Munirah Majilis, in Subang Jaya on Sunday.

“Another report was made by the special officer's wife and we are conducting further investigations,” he said to reporters after officiating at the delivery of the message of the Sabah Police commissioner at the Sabah Police headquarters in Kepayan here.

He urged all parties not to make any speculations until the investigations have been completed.

“We do not want to compromise anyone's reputation, we should respect all parties involved in this case,” he said.

Munirah, who is head of the Young Women's Wing in Parti Warisan Sabah (Warisan), found out about the article after she was informed by a friend in a WhatsApp message. — Bernama
