DBKL to shut down tahfiz school in sodomy case

PETALING JAYA: Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will close the tahfiz school in Kepong whose principal was accused of sodomising and abusing at least nine students, said Federal Territories Minister Khalid Samad said today.

Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Datuk Mujahid Yusof Rawa yesterday said he would close the centre if the principal is convicted of sodomy.

All three teachers at the tahfiz centre have fled and left the 43 students without adult supervision, Mujahid said.
