PETALING JAYA: E-commerce platform Shopee has recorded 86.7% growth in the number of brands available on the Shopee Mall, up to 560 brands from 300 brands, as it celebrates its first anniversary.
To mark its first anniversary, Shopee is organising a Super Brands Festival from today to Thursday. It will feature deals by brands like Fila, Watsons, Vinda, Kellogg's, Asus, Russell Taylors, Olay and Optimum Nutrition.
“Shopee has always stood by our commitment to provide customers with an easy, secure and fast online shopping experience, and Shopee Mall is the culmination of our ideals to serve Malaysians better,” Regional Managing Director of Shopee, Ian Ho said.
“Through the outstanding support of local brands even as we continue to gain the trust and loyalty of more and more Malaysians.”
Shopee Mall has recorded growth across all retail categories, seeing support from leading electronic brands like Xiaomi and Lenovo, top fashion brands like Poplook and Voir, and beauty lovers' favourites – NYX and Beiersdorf.
Growing its assortment, consumers can even purchase products like engine lubricants from the Shell official store, tickets to local football matches on the Malaysia Football League official store and even get their grocery done on Shopee Mall from brands such as Giant and Mydin.
“With the overwhelming affection received from our brands and fans, we are indebted to all over the past year who have made Shopee Mall a success,” Ho said.
“This is our way of showing our sincere gratitude to both buyers and sellers who can enjoy four days of Shopee Super Brands Festival.”
